Alta Campground $7 35 miles southwest of Darby on the West Fork of the Bitterroot River near the historical town of Alta, the first ranger station in the United States. 15 50'  
Bear Creek Trailhead FREE 10 miles southwest of Victor on Bear Creek.  An undeveloped camping/picnic spot adjoins the trailhead, which accesses the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. 1          
Bear Creek Pass Trailhead FREE 26 miles northwest of Darby at the head of Lost Horse Creek up dirt mountain road.  Sites are available up to 32 feet in length. The campground is open in early July and has access to the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. 6 32'        
Big Creek Trailhead FREE 4 miles northwest of Victor on Bear Creek.  Undeveloped camping/picnic area. 1          
Black Bear Campground FREE 16 miles southeast of Hamilton on Skalkaho Highway.  Sites are available for trailers up to 18 feet in length. 6 18'    
Blodgett Canyon Trailhead FREE 5 miles northwest of Hamilton on Blodgett Creek.  Undeveloped campsites adjoin the trailhead, which accesses the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. 6          
Charles Waters Campground

$9 5 miles northwest of Stevensville and 2 miles west of U.S. 93 via paved road on Bass Creek.  The campground includes access to the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, garbage receptacles, disabled access, a nature trail, a fitness trail, one bicycle site and five pull-through sites.

Historical area at Stevensville with St. Mary's Mission and Fort Owen - Montana's first European settlement, flour mill and sawmill.

Crazy Creek Campground $7 3 miles northwest of Sula on South 93 and 4 miles southwest of 93 on Warm Springs Creek.  Five more sites are set up for hunter camps with a tie rack and watering trough. 7 26'    
Deep Creek Campground FREE 51 miles southwest of Darby on Deep Creek.  Three sites access the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. 3        
East Fork Trailhead FREE 17 miles northeast of Sula on the East Fork of the Bitterroot River.  No improved camping units.  Stock unloading ramp and hitch rail. 0          
Fales Flat Group Camp FREE 29 miles southwest of Darby on Nez Perce Fork of the West Fork of the Bitterroot River.  Group reservations are available at the West Fork Ranger Station, 821-3269. 1          
Gold Creek Campground FREE 14 miles southeast of Stevensville.  Fishing access up a rough road up Burnt Fork that is not advised for recreation vehicles. 5      
Indian Creek Campground FREE 60 miles southwest of Darby on Selway River.  7        
Indian Trees Campground $9 6 miles south of Sula and 1 mile southwest of U.S. 93. 16 50'
